As a charitable non-profit organization, the Dancers of Damelahamid depends on your generous support to carry out its mandate to increase cross-cultural understanding of First Nations’ arts through a celebration of dance at the Coastal First Nations Dance Festival.

Cedar is an essential material that is used in all aspects of First Nations cultural life for clothing, housing, canoes, bent boxes and ceremonial masks. Every Cedar supporter is essential to make the Festival possible.

Abalone is a precious shell with brilliant blue-green hues, used to adorn carvings and regalia. Abalone supporter hold precious the richness of Northwest Coast art.

Copper is used to make copper shields, which are esteemed cultural possessions from the Northwest Coast. Our Copper supporters ensure the Festival can bring together a diverse cross-section of the finest dance artists.
